Have spent about 3 hours total standing in line today. Still haven't seen a film. Met some good people though!
I am working to link my Twitter feed to this site so that it's easier to update as I embark on my Sun/Slamdance epxerience. There are simply too many movies to see and too many people to meet. Can't wait!
Keep you posted...
Tell me this doesn't look fantastic:
My script THE UNRAVELING won the Top Prize in the Horror/Thriller category in the Slamdance Film Festival Screenplay Competition! Which will take me to Park City during Slamdance/Sundance for the first time this January.
And then this:
Which totally blew me away. Grand Prize out of 5,100 entrants from almost 70 countries!
That's a lot of love for my psychological thriller/horror script, and I am overjoiyed and thrilled and humbled and shocked. Amazing.
Hopefully, more great updates to come -- but if this is it, who can argue that it hasn't been a great couple weeks?
If this doesn't whet your appetite, I don't know what will. I love how Jessica Chastain (who, in depth, breadth, and quality of work, continues to live up to her hype) achieves such power in the trailer without uttering a word.
Can I buy my tickets now?
It's been almost a year since I last posted here, and what a year it's been. I'd like to blame my negligence on having a newborn, but that excuse only works for so long, right?
Anyway, I'm glad to be back and hoping to post more regularly in the very near future.
In the meantime, here's a quick trailer you may have not seen yet. I remember very distinctly going to see Clueless on what may have been opening night with my friend Renee. This looks as fresh as anything Amy Hecklerling has done since. Fingers crossed:
